Developing a feature-rich recruitment website with a powerful and distinctive brand.

When Quanta approached Labrow Marketing to revamp its tired-looking website, the company wanted something with visual impact – and something that would raise the bar in terms of functionality.

Labrow Marketing developed a distinctive concept around the personal nature of the service offered by Quanta, using people’s names in a series of pun-based headlines, such as “award-winning jobs for Oscar” and “finding a real gem of a job for Ruby”.

This was combined with a new colour scheme and an updated logo. The combined result is a website with a distinct visual premise and a bold, contemporary design – significantly strengthening Quanta’s on-line brand.

The site is fully content managed, so that Quanta is able to edit all of the pages without needing HTML-editing skills. The site carries hundreds of vacancies, which are pulled automatically from Quanta’s recruitment system – to not only save time and effort but also to ensure that the jobs advertised on the website are accurate and up-to-date.

Jobs can be found easily, by browsing by industry, or by type – such as contract and permanent. A fast and accurate job search can also be used to locate jobs using free text queries.

People can add jobs to a ‘shortlist’ after which they can either apply on line for one job or all jobs on the shortlist, using a process similar to a shopping cart.

The site also carries quotations from satisfied candidates and customers, which appear on each page at random. News and customer case studies help to provide regular updates to supplement the pages which position the company’s recruitment services.

In addition to the website design, Labrow Marketing also undertook all of the copywriting for the website’s positioning pages and case studies.

This website was developed in partnership with Bawden Quinn Associates, which provided the technical development for the content management system and the live integration with Quanta’s recruitment system.
