A content-managed website to promote True North’s training courses and coaching services.
Developing a new content-managed website for a leading learning and development company
True North has been working with Labrow Marketing for around five years, so when the time came for the company to take its website to the next level, True North again chose Labrow Marketing.
The key requirement was to move the website from being a static HTML website into one that is content-managed – so that the team at True North could update the content of the website themselves.
This allows them to make the website more dynamic – adding in case studies, news, resources for learners and other content quickly and easily.
The majority of the look and feel of the previous site was kept, as True North was still very happy with the design originally created by Labrow Marketing. Some updates to the design were required to accommodate the new content and the additional functionality now available by virtue of moving to a content-managed platform. The largest visual change was to the home page, to help display information more clearly and present the business in a new way.
All of the content within the website is created and managed by True North, using the Umbraco content management system – a content management system that’s in use in over 30,000 websites.
The website was developed in partnership with one of Labrow Marketing’s technical partners, Net Marketeers, which was responsible for the Umbraco development. Labrow Marketing and Net Marketeers have worked together for over a decade and have co-developed over a dozen websites.
