“I have worked with Peter for several years and it is without question that I will continue to use his excellent skills and knowledge in the future. I find Peter very easy to work with – I suggest something; he then comes back with something ten times better! Peter has a strong sales and marketing acumen and this, I believe, sets him apart from other designers. He is able to fully understand what it is that a client wants, but is also very aware of considering what the end customer also wants and needs. Peter has not only designed the website for Well-Placed People, but also the logo, stationery, e-stationery and marketing materials. I am really impressed with what he has created and delivered and I would not hesitate to recommend him: in fact, I have done – several times already. ”

Well Placed People
A highly targeted, fully content-managed recruitment website.
Enabling a specialist recruitment provider to connect with clients, candidates, contractors and consultants
Well-Placed People operates in the highly competitive recruitment market – matching specialist skilled people to telecoms and IT roles.
A new company, Well-Placed People, wanted more than just a website – it needed a name (at the time we were approached, the business was as yet unnamed), a website, logo, stationery and document templates for leaflets which could be customised in-house.
Labrow Marketing submitted a range of potential business names – after first checking that the website addresses for each were available. The name Well-Placed People was chosen, because it was felt that this accurately described the client’s ethos and business within the company name itself.
We then created the logo and set to work on the website. The website is fully content-managed, so that Well-Placed People can update every aspect of the site without having to call on a website professional. As with all of our projects, we developed the site using the Umbraco content-management system – which provides great powerand scalability.
The core of the website is the jobs section – where candidates can search for, find and apply for jobs. This includes applying via the LinkedIn account, to make the process easier – as it doesn’t require the applicant to fill in a form or submit a CV. The application is performed entirely by interacting with the applicant’s LinkedIn page.
This website is one of half a dozen recruitment websites that have been created by Labrow Marketing. Recruitment websites have to compete hard for high-ranking positions in Google, so it’s vital to get every aspect of the website’s search optimisation and content structure spot on.
The website also integrates with the industry-leading list-management tool, MailChimp. This is used to provide automatic and manual mailings to people who sign-up for updates.
This website was developed in partnership with Bawden Quinn Associates, which provided the technical development for the content-management system.
